The Design Story:

Chrysalis reimagines the protective shell from World of Grooves’ Wings of Resonance installation as tone-on-tone ripples that seem to expand and contract with every breath. The motif began as a digital mapping of vinyl-record grooves—those microscopic rings of captured sound—then evolved into a visual meditation on metamorphosis. Each kimono is made to order to minimize waste and offered only while this color experiment lasts.
